Pro tip.. (not that useful in later game) Build 3 square floors in a line. Box off the two boxes on the edges.. all four sides and then add a floor. Build the water collector in the center square that's been left open. (You can close it off on the front and back if you'd like) Finally, build the dew collector and place it on the two outer boxes. Position the collector so that the dew collected can just fall directly into the catcher below. Decorate as desired :)

It’s actually kinda easy to make whetstone and plating without marble or quartzite for brittle whetstone it only takes 1 sap and 1 larva spike For the sturdy version it takes 1 sap and 1 spider fang and finally for the supreme version it take 1 sap and 1 black ox horn

1 year late, but I managed to exploit my way onto the mushrooms of the oak tree. There is a leaf laying beside the tree under the mushrooms that you can climb. Behind it, there should be some ledges and from there you can build ladders. I built 2 ladders up and made my way right under the mushrooms. I relocated the top ladder and placed under the mushrooms and jumped onto one. The great thing is you can build support pillars on top of the mushrooms!!! I recommend building stairs once you're right under the mushrooms, so that you can bring materials to the top.

I don't mind the update being focused on people who have unlocked it. My biggest issue is how unbelievably grindy New Game+ is. It takes forever to upgrade weapons and it boils down to fighting thousands upon thousands of ants and termites. It's painfully repetitive.
